It's taken me awhile to write this review. Peter's story hit very close to home. I was married to my ex-wife for 26 years and we have 3 beautiful children. I came out at age 50. Let me tell you, I cried just reading the Prologue and had to put the book down. Once I picked the book back up, I had to take my time reading it. I had to let many of Peters thoughts sit with me, as it opened up many emotions in me. It was thoughts that I too, had about myself.My story is vastly different than Peter's when it comes to my marriage and my children. I am blessed to have amazing allies in my wife and children. My story, however, is very much the same as Peter's when it comes to how my internal thoughts of ALONE followed me from childhood and well into adulthood. I now know I was not and am not alone, thanks to Peter and the many others who have shared their journey. Peter, your book and you make a difference.
