Akata Woman is the New York Times bestselling third book in the series that started with Akata Witch, named one of Time magazine's "100 Best Fantasy Books of All Time" and "100 Best YA Books of All Time," from award-winning author Nnedi Okorafor. "In this series, Okorafor creates a stunningly original world of African magic that draws on Nigerian folk beliefs and rituals instead of relying on the predictable tropes of Western fantasy novels."—Time magazineFrom the moment Sunny Nwazue discovered she had mystical energy flowing in her blood, she sought to understand and control her powers. Throughout her adventures in Akata Witch and Akata Warrior, she had to navigate the balance between nearly everything in her life—America and Nigeria, the "normal" world and the one infused with juju, human and spirit, good daughter and powerful Leopard Person. Now, those hard lessons and abilities are put to the test in a quest so dangerous and fantastical, it would be madness to go . . . but it may destroy the world if she does not. With the help of her friends, Sunny embarks on a mission to find a precious object hidden deep in an otherworldly realm. Defeating the guardians of the prize will take more from Sunny than she has to give, and triumph will mean she will be forever changed.

This was another great “journey” in the Akata Cannon. I enjoyed every chapter. The imagery and pacing was great. I was worried that I would be a little lost because it has been several years since I read the first 2, however I was able to keep up. Akata Woman (The Nsibidi Scripts) ePUB Download Kindle lire epub It felt obligatory and not intentional at all. Somewhat confusing in some parts, as well (e.g., was it concrete or asphalt they were standing on? They are not the same). Nevertheless, I finished it and I'm still a fan. Not mad at it but definitely not as good as the first 2 in the series. PDF Akata Woman (The Nsibidi Scripts) read pdf ebook If you've read the first two Akata books, you already know. I really think this one needs to have a part 2. It was great but I think Sunny needs to move on out the house at this point. She's got major stuff going on and I would like to see the three older and doing their juju works and what not. Then again maybe this is for young adult readers or older ones. At any rate it seems that Sunny is still on the verge of something and so I HOPE we get at least one more Akata book from the fabulous Nnedi Okorafor. ePUB Akata Woman (The Nsibidi Scripts) leggi online I didn’t think I could possibly like this one more than the last two. Wow I absolutely loved it. I had to refresh myself on the events of Akata Warrior before I could really get into this, but once I finally did I read this book in less than a week. I’m now on a mission to find other fantasy/sci-fi stories that feature/single out two female besties. I love Orlu and Sasha as well of course, but the dynamic between ChiChi and Sunny is *chef’s kiss.* I loved the romance and how it was very satisfying without ever stealing the spotlight. Obviously I love the culture, language, history, etc. The magic system is fascinating, creative, surprising, and deeply enchanting. There were so many twists but the one from the last few pages still really got me. It’s such a unique series! It will definitely be one of my top reads of the year. (PDF) Downloads Akata Woman (The Nsibidi Scripts) 4.5 Stars. Part III of a developing story about Sunny, a para-adept, on an adventure more action oriented than one of self-discovery. Characters are well defined and ring true for teenage chutzpah and impulsiveness. I marvel at the author’s development of a wholly new set of magical elements, devices, and worlds. What a marvelous find!
