I love using my dutch oven pot. I use it for outdoor cooking but I also use it indoors, especially in the winter when I can cook stuff in the oven low and slow. This book has given me so many recipe ideas. There are around 400 recipes presented here, and a lot of them were new to me. The book opens by explaining what a dutch oven is and how to use it. THen we get into the recipes. The ones given cover sides, breakfast, soups/stews, your main protein types, and bread/desserts. I loved that there were also some vegetarian dishes, like aubergine and chickpea stew and a lentil curry. I had not thought of doing breads or desserts in my dutch oven so I am so glad these were presented here to let me try them out.
