I mean, seriously, how could you be dissatisfied with a book? All it is is a bunch of pages with words printed on them glued together for your enjoyment. Books can't disappoint in that way. It is utterly professional. But there is a problem, which does occur in biographies, the subject is an inherently uninteresting person. I like and admire Hopper's painting, but I don't love it and I wouldn't want to live with one. As his work (subject and execution) was controlled and inexpressive, so was he as a person. His life was not that interesting and this book would have been better had it been edited down to 300 pages.
