Sometimes it takes starting over to discover who we really are… Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, forced to choose between who you used to be and who you want to be?And whichever path you choose will wind up hurting someone you love?Well, if you haven’t, I can tell you firsthand: it’s the worst. But it’s exactly where I find myself. In New York, the city of endless possibilities, faced with an impossible choice. Kinda like deciding between Wicked and Hamilton on opening night, except the wrong decision could ruin your life. And I have no idea what to do.It all started three months ago, with a friendly family competition, decade-old bucket list, and a long overdue trek across the country. But as I checked off tasks like learning to cook French cuisine (pro tip: it helps if you actually turn the oven on) and running a marathon (which is way longer than I thought), something remarkable happened.I discovered skills and strengths I never knew existed, gained the respect I’d once deemed undeserved, and ditched my not-so-endearing nickname—Quincy “The Quitter” Carmichael.I also reconnected with my childhood best friend’s older brother—who’s still swoon-level cute, by the way—and let’s just say, Nora Ephron would be proud. But if I’ve learned anything from binge-watching romantic comedies, it’s that most happily ever afters come with a price. And not usually the one you expect. So, here I am, torn between family and friendship, past and present, love and livelihood. And I could really use some advice.Sincerely,Neurotic in New YorkFrom the USA Today bestselling author of the beloved Poppy Creek series comes a humorous and heartwarming stand-alone novel about love, friendship, family, and the bumpy road of self-discovery.

New York, New Year, New You is quite an inspiring story. Quincy feels she has never accomplished anything and has little faith in her own capabilities. Thankfully she has a best friend that loves and believes in her in spite of herself. A huge plus is her best friends brother has always believed in her too. He has always looked out for her and she has kind of always had a bit of a crush on him. As the cover indicates, forever love blossoms as Quincy turns her life around and becomes the women she never knew she could be. I really enjoyed this book and feel it is a very good inspiration for anyone that lacks faith in their own abilities. Its amazing what one can do one step at a time. New York, New Year, New You: A fun, feel-good read full of heart, hope & humor eBook PDF Online gratis A clean, heartwarming story about finding one’s way, self-esteem, rebuilding relationships, and new beginnings. Quincy has been dubbed Quincy “The Quitter” because she never follows through on what she starts. She feels that her parents have never been proud of anything she’s accomplished and that she’s so much less than her successful go-getter siblings. She’s even let her best friend, Brynn, down on more than one occasion. When a prestigious promotion is announced by her father, no one considers Quincy for the job, but she speaks up anyway and asks to be considered. To do so, she has to complete a list of tasks that she’s failed to accomplish over the years. In doing so, she has to temporarily return to New York City, where she stays with Brynn, and Brynn’s brother, Ethan. Quincy feels she’s failing at each of the tasks. Is there any way she can complete the tasks and an ad campaign for the promotion? Maybe. With a little help from her friends.I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. PDF New York, New Year, New You: A fun, feel-good read full of heart, hope & humor book online After building my community in Poppy Creek, this book feels like a bit of a departure as it focuses more directly on familial relationships. I wasn’t sure what I would think, but this one’s another winner!I found that I wanted to be Quincy‘s friend from the start. I wanted to hold her hand and support her while chuckling at her humorous self-deprecating thoughts and comments. I was rooting for her all the way.Family relationships are not always straightforward and sweet, and this story follows Quincy as she negotiates through her own personal growth and her perception of self.I liked Ms. Bloome’s first person storytelling style, and although a style departure from the standard she’s has established and her earlier writing, this book is a keeper.I highly recommend it! ePUB New York, New Year, New You: A fun, feel-good read full of heart, hope & humor kindle pdf Quincy had to step out to find herself. With Ethan's support, she found much more. This story is more than romance, its a story of how stepping out of our comfort zone opens up a world of possibilities we miss staying in a definition of who we think we are. How God sees us and fills our world with adventure in the ordinary in an extraordinary way. Love how Rachael weaves this plot.
